 This course is Virginia Department of Criminal Justice approved for 16 hours of In-Service credit. Officers should be in good physical condition as this will be a very stressful training session. Officers will need their duty belt, firearm, 150 rounds of frangible ammo and ballistic helmet and eye protection.

Training provided by Lion Claw Tactical, a division of LBT, LTD.

Officers who successfully complete the course will be awarded a certificate of training from both the Chesapeake Police Academy and Lion Claw Tactical. Instruction will take place at both the Lion Claw Training Facility located in Norfolk, Virginia and the Chesapeake Police Training Facility.
