This course follows Virginia Department of Criminal Justice guidelines for 32 hours of In-Service credit. This course of intensive training is designed to provide law enforcement instructors the knowledge needed to properly train officers in the arena of basic ground defense. This course consists of lecture, drills and practical application exercises. Dress for this course is physical fitness attire. Gunbelt required.

Training provided by Lion Claw Tactical, a division of LBT, LTD.

Officers who successfully complete the course will be awarded a certificate of training from both the Host Agency and Lion Claw Tactical. Instruction will take place at the Lion Claw Training Facility located in Norfolk, Virginia.
